Law Quadrangle Magazine Design
Fall 2017 Issue
"First thing we do, let's replace all lawyers with computers."
This was the first line of the cover story, and it served as our prompt for the cover illustration concept. This issue of the Law Quadrangle was about innovation and technology in law. The writers wanted something that promoted technology, rather than making it seem dark and threatening.
The stories in the magazine dealt with things like digitizing files, being able to work from your smartphone while at your kid's soccer game, and global connections.
For the final cover, I wanted to show a connection between the technology and the people, while showing the interaction between law and technology. This was a combination of the thought bubbles and circuit board-inspired design shown in my early iterations.
